Dr. H. Jung Song attended the University of California San Diego for undergraduate studies and continued her dental education at the University of Washington Dental School.
She is a board-certified Periodontist who specializes in periodontics and implants. She serves as a staff periodontist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and is an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington Periodontics Department. She has also taught at the Center of Pediatric Dentistry and the Swedish Dental Residency Program.
Dr. Song loves to volunteer her time at the Seattle King County Dental Clinics. In the past, she has spent time in Jamaica, Kenya, Haiti, and Bolivia, helping others in need. Dr. Song also served as a commissioner for the Dental Quality Assurance Commission appointed by former Governor Christine Gregoire.
She is a past president of the Washington State Periodontist Society and is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and Dental Sleep Medicine. In addition to Periodontics and dental implants, she is actively pursuing additional sleep medicine studies, TMD, and Botox for Pain. She is also a certified Pinhole Gum Graft Provider.
Dr. Song has three kids and two little Chihuahuas. When not at school or working, you will find the family in the waters of Puget Sound or the snow in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
